Dogs On Beaches
Bellarine Bayside is a manager of dog friendly beaches.
Dog owners are encouraged to exercise their dogs on the foreshore areas, with over half the foreshore area designated as dog friendly throughout the year. Restrictions are in place to provide areas that are dog free for members of the public as not all people are comfortable around dogs.
Dogs can be walked in accessible areas as long as they are under effective control, and preferably on a lead at all times.
Dog owners are reminded that they are responsible for cleaning up after their animals.
’Scoop the Poop’ bins and free bag stations are located along the foreshore to assist dog owners in cleaning up after their dogs
