Green Corps Volunteers
During 2008 Bellarine Bayside has been hosting a team of young Green Corps members.
While with us the Green Corps crew have undertaken a broad range of activies including:
- weeding in the Pt Richards Flora and Fauna Reserve alongside the Friends of Pt Richards;
- working on the Indented Head boardwalk;
- painting and preparation of the Wrathall BBQ Shelter;
- mulching and indigenous planting at Osborne Park, St Leonards with Grade 5 from St Leonards Primary School;
- mulching of low indigenous plants at Anderson Reserve beach steps;
- propogating plants at the Bellarine Secondary College Landcare Nursery, Drysdale;
- and much, much more !!
Our group is graduating on Wednesday 17 December. Members of the local community, especially anyone who has worked alongside these your people while they have been with us, are more than welcome to attend.
