Update on Bellarine Bayside’s Camping and Accommodation Strategy
Bellarine Bayside, which is the appointed Committee of Management for the coastal foreshore reserves on the Northern Bellarine, has been working on a Strategy to guide its accommodation and camping business. The Strategy is a critical piece of work for Bellarine Bayside as funds generated from delivering affordable and enjoyable holiday experiences at our Holiday Park and camp grounds are reinvested back into the foreshore reserves and assets, and our camping operations. A key initiative is to increase our marketing and packaging capability including moving to online bookings.
John Nankervis, Bellarine Bayside’s Chief Executive Officer, said “the Strategy, which has been prepared in consultation with our partners, community and campers, provides us with a plan that aims to achieve long-term financial sustainability.”
The finalised Strategy has been summarised in a public information brochure.
