Bellarine Bayside Foreshore Committee of Management is appointed by the Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change to manage the coastal Crown land from Portarlington through to St Leonards. Bellarine Bayside manages six coastal Crown land caravan parks in Portarlington, Indented Head and St Leonards. In 2003 Bellarine Bayside prohibited the sale of onsite vans at the Portarlington Holiday Park in keeping with long-standing government policy to ban the profiteering from Crown land. Earlier this year the State Government revised its Improving Equity of Access to Crown Land Caravan Parks policy to allow Committees of Management to permit the sale of onsite vans within Crown land caravan and camping parks

In October 2012 Bellarine Bayside Foreshore Committee of Management adopted the Sale of Onsite Vans Policy allowing the sale transaction to be completed subject to a number of conditions and adopted processes.

Due to the small number of onsite vans becoming available for sale and the large number of applicants, a wait list has been created. You can download the wait list application form below if you would like to purchase an onsite van at Portarlington Holiday Park. There is a $200 application fee and this can be paid at Reception. Wait list applications are not taken during the busy summer period between Christmas and the end of January. Please also see the disclosure statement and holiday park rules.

Twelve Month Permit Holders are reminded that they hold a permit to occupy a site for twelve months only with no guarantee of occupancy in subsequent years.

For more information please call the Portarlington Holiday Park office on 5254 4000 (option 1).
