Bellarine Coastal Trail

Areas of a low-lying dune system, herb-rich woodlands and a mosaic of wetlands traverse the coastal landscape providing habitat for flora and fauna and a source of natural history.

Food and Wine

The Bellarine Taste Trail is the perfect place to start your Bellarine food journey. Pick up a map from reception or download one here and discover the local delicacies and farm produce of the Bellarine Peninsula directly from the farm gate.

Festivals & Events

There is a plethora of events and festivals staged on the northern Bellarine foreshore throughout the year. Some long-standing, very popular events include the Gatorade Triathlon, National Celtic Festival, Portarlington Mussel Festival and the Bellarine Sunset Run, to name but a few!

For the kids

Apart from fishing and swimming in the beautiful Bay, there are activities all over the Bellarine Peninsula for the kids to enjoy!

The magic and charm of the Portarlington Bayside Miniature Railway has brought enjoyment and fun to a generation of families over many years since the first operated public running day in January 1999.
