Bellarine Coastal Trail

The popular Bellarine Coastal Trail is the main walking connection between Portarlington, Indented Head and St Leonards. Extending for 17km, it links up with Ramblers Walk in Portarlington and Edwards Point Wildlife Reserve in St Leonards, creating a network of trails across the northern Bellarine Peninsula.

The Bellarine Coastal Trail meanders along the edge of Port Phillip Bay, traversing a variety of coastal landscapes. The trail provides an opportunity to view the distinctive headlands and cliffs that create a character that is much loved by locals and visitors alike. There are also many important heritage features dotted along the coast, and places that tell the Aboriginal history and continuing connection to Country. Interpretive signs at key locations provide opportunities to explore further along the way.

The Bellarine Coastal Trail is wide and mostly flat, making it a great option for pushing prams, walking dogs, family bike rides and peaceful strolls alone or with friends.
