We had a blast yesterday at the Bayside Alive! Community Planting day.
Bayside Alive! is an environmental education and engagement program focussing on our natural and ‘alive’ coastline.
The aim of the program is for Bellarine Bayside to provide fun and informative activities and opportunities for the community.
With your help, we planted over 900 trees, with a lot of laughs along the way! It was wonderful to have a chat with you all over lunch and a cup of tea as well!
A special mention to, a mother and daughter planting team who came all the way from Tullamarine for the event. They said they holiday down here in summer and wanted to give something
back to the community. It was truly wonderful to meet you and to have you come all this way to help us!
Don’t forget to invite your friends to the next Bayside Alive! Community Planting Day, which is in collaboration with Planet Arks, National Tree Day!; the event is free, there are games, lunch and morning tea provided, and it is fun!
