Can I check in early or out late?

Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and cannot always be guaranteed, particularly during peak periods. Guests are welcome to contact the park office prior to arrival or departure to discuss available options.

Where possible, our team will do their best to accommodate requests, however additional charges may apply.

To help ensure all guests enjoy their stay, excessive and unreasonable noise is not permitted within the holiday park. Guests are asked to be considerate of others at all times, and quiet time applies from 11:00pm, with no noise permitted after this time. Exceptions may apply on certain occasions throughout the year, such as Christmas and New Year’s celebrations.

Electric vehicles must not be charged from caravan site outlets, caravan internal power points, UMD power supplies, or standard powerheads. Currently we do not have anywhere on site to charge your EV and the nearest location is in Drysdale. 

Yes. E-scooters are permitted within the holiday park, provided they are used safely and responsibly. Riders must comply with all applicable road rules, observe the park’s 10 km/h speed limit, wear an approved helmet at all times, and must not carry passengers.

For safety reasons, e-scooters may only be ridden by guests aged 16 years and over and should be operated with care and consideration for other guests, pedestrians and vehicles within the park.

Returning guests staying for an eligible minimum period may have the opportunity to rebook the same dates for the following year before bookings open to the general public. Rebooking periods, eligibility requirements and key dates are reviewed annually, so please contact the park office for current arrangements.

Campfires are permitted during approved low season periods, with dates released annually following consultation with the CFA and consideration of fire danger conditions and park safety requirements.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, campfires are only permitted in Bellarine Bayside fire pits, which must be hired through the park. Only sustainably sourced firewood purchased from Bellarine Bayside may be used. External fire pits and firewood are not permitted.

Dogs are welcome at Portarlington Holiday Park during designated off-season periods in selected dog-friendly zones. Approved dates and areas are reviewed annually to balance the needs of pet owners, other guests, and the park environment.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone, dogs must be kept under control at all times and comply with the park’s policies. Please contact the park office or check our website for current dog-friendly dates, zones, and conditions before booking.
