Bellarine Bayside manages, maintains, protects and enhances the cultural heritage, distinctive coastal character and environmental assets of coastal Crown land along the northern Bellarine Peninsula.
We generate revenue to do so from the operation of six holiday parks and camping reserves at Portarlington, Indented Head and St Leonards. Situated in beachfront locations, our holiday parks offer a range of accommodation options for visitors to the Bellarine.

About the role
The Coastal Reserves Maintenance Officer undertakes programmed and reactive maintenance works as a member of the Coastal Reserves Maintenance Team. This team effectively maintains, rehabilitates, and enhances Coastal Reserve open spaces and assets to ensure they are presented in a safe and presentable manner for the local community and visitors.
Tasks include the delivery of horticultural and built asset maintenance programs, including turf, garden bed, and tree maintenance, along with playgrounds, pedestrian and shared trail networks.
There is a requirement to work occasional rostered weekends and public holidays during the peak summer period (applicable allowances apply).

About the role
The Senior Project Officer will lead the planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects funded through annual budgets and grant programs aligned with Bellarine Bayside’s Coastal and Marine Management Plan.
Working across projects of varying scale and complexity, the role will oversee the delivery of projects from concept through to completion. Projects will include visitor infrastructure such as buildings, boat ramps, playgrounds, shelters, trails, landscaping works, coastal protection assets and other community facilities.
Suitable applicants will have demonstrated experience in managing a project lifecycle and have strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
