Bellarine Bayside manages, maintains, protects and enhances the cultural heritage, distinctive coastal character and environmental assets of coastal Crown land along the northern Bellarine Peninsula.

We generate revenue to do so from the operation of six holiday parks and camping reserves at Portarlington, Indented Head and St Leonards. Situated in beachfront locations, our holiday parks offer a range of accommodation options for visitors to the Bellarine.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and passionate people for the below positions.

Coastal Reserves Maintenance Officer

About the role

  • Job Type: Permanent, part-time (0.5), 5 days per fortnight including a fortnightly half day off.
  • Package: $25.878 – $28.70 per hour (plus superannuation)

 

The Coastal Reserves Maintenance Officer will, under limited supervision and direction, perform general foreshore maintenance, camping ground maintenance functions and repair activities and customer services duties throughout Bellarine Bayside’s coastal reserves. A current manual driver’s licence is required.

This role will suit somebody who:

  • Has a horticulture or gardening maintenance background, and or industry experience.
  • Is able to work in a self-directed manner and as part of a team.
  • Has knowledge and experience of safe work practices and plant and equipment use.

Casual Maintenance and Visitor Services Officer

About the role

  • Job Type: Casual
  • Package: $32.6423 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus appropriate penalty rates

 

Our Maintenance and Visitor Services Officers are the backbone of our holiday parks. They undertake a broad range of maintenance and improvement works to keep our holiday parks always looking immaculate and inviting to our guests. They happily provide assistance, guidance and advice to the many campers who stay with us each year.

This role will suit somebody who:

  • Is friendly and enjoys helping people.
  • Wants to join a team passionate about delivering great holiday experiences.
  • Is able to work in a self-directed manner and as part of a team.
  • Is physically fit, handy with tools or has a trade-related background.
  • Is happy to work on weekends and public holidays over summer and autumn.
