Bellarine Bayside in partnership with various organisations and community groups are hosting a series of activities this summer. All activities are weather-dependent. Kelly Sports activities can be booked through the Kelly Sports website, Summer by the Sea activities are FREE (just turn up on the day) and the Bellarine Party Shop craft activities can be booked at the Portarlington Holiday Park reception office, but get in quick these sessions are filling up fast! We are also holding a Talent Show on Sunday 8 January 2017, so bring an instrument, recite a poem or play the spoons….show us your special talent!
The Portarlington Charity Carnival will also be open from 7pm to late nightly from Christmas Eve, Saturday 24 December right through until Australia Day, Thursday 26 January 2017 (excluding Christmas Day).

Don’t forget the Portarlington Bayside Miniature Railway will be operating every Sunday from 11am to 4pm, Wednesday 28 December 2016 and every Wednesday in January 2017 also from 11am to 4pm. Rides are $4.00 and children under 2 travel free.
FOOD VENDORS
With a dedicated food van area created on Fourth Ave, the Portarlington Holiday Park will again have a permanent on-site food van during January. Dionne will serve all your favourites such as steak sandwiches, egg & bacon rolls, fish & chips, burgers, pies, sausage rolls, roast rolls, salad sandwiches and rolls. There will also be home-baked goodies, lollies for the kids, bread, milk newspapers and ice! Open daily from Boxing Day, Monday 26 December 2016 until Friday 20 January 2017. Hexham Burgers will provide this service from Saturday 21 January to Sunday 29 January 2017 and then every weekend throughout February.
Peter’s Coastal Coffee Break van will also be in the park daily from Tuesday 27 December 2016 to keep campers, locals and staff fully caffeinated.
Other food vans visiting at various times during summer include The Mobile Pizzaria, Honey Dee Loukoumades, Twisty Taters, Lemon Pepper Fish and Chippery, Hexham Burgers and Snaggas Gourmet Sausages and Burgers. And let’s not forget our favourite Pier traders, Graeme’s ‘I want more’ hot jam donuts, Vicki’s gelati and ice-cream van and Mr Mussel for all your delicious local seafood. Check out our Food Vendor timetable.
CAMPER CONNECTIONS BBQs
Campers will again have the opportunity to informally meet and chat with Bellarine Bayside’s Committee, the CEO and Management in January (Thurs 19 at St Leonards, Fri 20 at Portarlington, Sat 21 at Indented Head). All days 5.00 to 7.00 pm. A free BBQ will also be provided at each of these sessions. Stay tuned on Facebook for further updates.
