The Ozone Wreck

The hull of the Ozone paddle steamer was sunk off Indented Head in 1925 to form a breakwater for small craft. It sits 50m offshore from Half Moon Bay at Indented Head and is visible from the land as a distinctive landmark.

The Ozone wreck is considered an easy shallow dive, also making it a great place to snorkel and view the array of underwater life in Port Phillip Bay, with reports of many fish and stingrays. One of the anchors from the Ozone is also a monument that sits on the cliff-top near Taylor Reserve, overlooking the wreck.

Located nearby are public amenities and picnic areas with seating and public BBQs.
