CEO Bruce Elliot’s statement:
After a lot of consideration, and 20 years working in senior leadership roles, I have decided that it is time for me to retire. My last day as Chief Executive Officer with Bellarine Bayside will be in late-October this year.
Although I am not stepping down for another five months, the recruitment process for my successor has commenced.
I have thoroughly enjoyed running Bellarine Bayside over the past four years. The organisation has a fantastic culture, made possible by the support and passion of the staff and Committee members. It has been incredibly rewarding to be part of the work that Bellarine Bayside does, whether through our core day-to-day activities or delivering on large coastal management projects. Each step of the way, great outcomes are achieved for the coast and communities.
With five months still left, I intend to keep striving to deliver key outcomes and keep the organisation in a good position to ensure the local communities, coastal visitors and holiday park patrons continue to enjoy our coast and all it has to offer
Bruce Elliot
