We all have a part to play in protecting our communities and we ask that you please abide by the closures and follow the government advice to stay home as much as possible.

Holiday Parks

As of 9am on Thursday, 16 September 2020, Portarlington Holiday Park is open for guests who live in regional Victoria. Unfortunately, those who live in metropolitan Melbourne cannot yet travel to our region, but we look forward to welcoming them back when they are able to travel.

You can find out more about changes to facilities or amenities and what we are doing to reduce the risk of COVID-19 here.

We thank you for your patience and support during these times.

Our staff are available via phone or email between 9am-5pm, each day. Please remember to maintain physical distancing when interacting with all our staff.

Public facility closures

Following the latest Victorian Government advice, and to help reduce spread of coronavirus in our communities, a range of public facilities will remain closed from 11.59pm (local time) on Sunday, 18 October 2020.

Closures apply until further notice for the following public facilities along the foreshore between Portarlington and St Leonards:

  • All BBQs
  • All drinking fountains
  • All outdoor shower

While using public facilities that are open, please remember that public facility surfaces are not routinely disinfected – it is up to all users to practice good hygiene and sanitise hands before and after use. All users must also continue to practice physical distancing, not gather in groups of more than 10 people and continue to wear a mask.

Events on the foreshore and bookings for Indented Head Community Hall are all suspended unless they comply with current Victorian Government guidelines on group size and service type.

Beach use regulations

All beaches and foreshore reserves between Point Richards and St Leonards are open for exercise and recreational activities, provided you comply with state government requirement on public gatherings.

You must continue to observe physical distancing of 1.5 metres between yourself and others at all times, and we ask that you take responsibility for your personal hygiene and be mindful of others when using any open facilities.

A face covering must be worn at all times when you leave your home unless you have a lawful reason for not doing so.

This is in accordance with Chief Health Officer Victoria and the Victorian Department of Health & Human Services requirements on public gatherings and physical distancing.

Offices

Following government directions to help stop the spread of COVID-19 we have changed the way we work at Bellarine Bayside. Until further notice, our administration office is closed to walk-in visitors and open by appointment only.
