Public facilities, open spaces and beaches

Following the latest Victorian Government advice, all of our public facilities are open from 11.59pm (local time) on Monday, 18 January 2021.

All beaches, open spaces and other public facilities between Point Richards and St Leonards are open for exercise and recreational activities.

While using open public facilities, please remember:

  • You must continue to observe physical distancing of 1.5 metres between yourself and others at all times.
  • Do not gather in groups of more than 100 people.
  • All persons 12 years of age and older must carry a face mask at all times for use in mandatory circumstances (e.g. physical distancing of 1.5m cannot be maintained) unless a lawful exception applies.
  • Public facility surfaces are not routinely disinfected – it is up to all users to practice good hygiene and sanitise hands before and after use.
  • Please consider other users.

Events on the foreshore and bookings for Indented Head Community Hall are able to occur, provided they comply with current Victorian Government guidelines on group size and service type. For any enquiries about event permits or hall bookings please email and we will be able to assist you to plan your event.

This is in accordance with Chief Health Officer Victoria and the Victorian Department of Health & Human Services requirements on public gatherings and physical distancing.
